The undersigned is the President (Asia Pacific) of United Human Rights Federation (UHRF). I am on a visit to Mumbai and wanted to meet you personally in connection with the above subject matter. Your Secretary Mr. Kamath has been kind enough to fix my appointment with you today and accordingly I visited your office, however due to your busy schedule and prior engagements, could not meet you.

Sir, on the subject, the office of the Hon’ble Prime Minister has issued a letter No. PMOPG/D/2015/ 0164669 dated 21/07/2015 to the office of your goodself for appropriate action. Copy of the representations / directions in this regard are already lying with your office.

The UHRF has been doing research for ensuring strict financial discipline in the public and corporate domain and while doing so, we came to know about various illegal financial transactions of some of the Indian corporate houses and in pursuant thereof filed representations to His Excellency, The President of India with a copy to the office of Your Honour and other Government Authorities for fraud, cheating and scam of crores of rupees and also for the illegal development being carried out by various developers / builders in Mumbai / Maharashtra.
The UHRF filed a Public Interest Litigation before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India being Writ Petition No. 915 of 2014 against various parties including the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). The Hon’ble Supreme Court on 07.11.2014 after hearing the Applicant/Petitioner UHRF on various issues raised in the PIL passed an order, permitting/ directing the UHRF to approach the appropriate Forums by making appropriate application(s)/ representations for appropriate relief/ reliefs.
In view of the above, UHRF filed complaints / representations to various governmental & supervisory authorities including the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Urban Development Minister of Maharashtra, Municipal Commissioner, MCGM, EOW, Anti Corruption Bureau, Mumbai etc. for frauds, cheating and financial scams and about the various irregularities and unauthorized construction in the projects, specifically ‘Palais Royale’ at Worli, Mumbai.
Sir, I would be obliged if an appointment afresh, is granted to the undersigned so that I personally can meet you and explain the illegalities going on in the construction/development activities at Mumbai.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,
